Rumor Roundup: Draft trade talk
BY: Lyle Richardson
The 2011 NHL Entry Draft is a little more than a week away, spurring conjecture over which clubs will try to move up or down in the first round.
Most GMs tend to be open to the possibility of changing their order in the draft, depending, of course, on the type of offers they receive.
Toronto Maple Leafs GM Brian Burke informed his peers during the recent NHL draft combine he's willing to package either of his two first round picks, plus his second-rounder for a higher pick.
New York Islanders GM Garth Snow has let it be known he's open to entertaining offers for his first-rounder (fifth overall).

This is the same Burke who thought he could out talk Snow for Tavares. Love the way Snow taunts Burke for the weeks prior to draft.

Hmm...Bobrovsky to Minnesota? I like the sound of that, but I highly doubt it will ever happen. Even though they're not going to resign Harding or Theodore, Endras and Hackett will be fighting for the backup position and Kuemper will be down in Houston to backup whoever loses the main backup position.
