Wait, did the Cavs make a pick? Because the only name these idiots on ESPN keep mentioning is Lebron James.

Thompson at 4? What do you Cav's fans think?

I'm really hoping we drafted him to trade him so we can get the Lithuanian + something else.

Terrible terrible pick if we don't trade him for Jonas. We basically drafted JJ Hicksons twin 4th overall.

With him going #5, there most likely goes any chance at a trade for him. I don't get it.

Maybe Grant didn't get the memo that having a good center is extremely important in the NBA, and the only way to acquire a good center is through the draft. Well...lets wait another 2 or 3 years before we have another shot at a decent center.

The only trade that could even possibly happen that would make any sense (right now at least) is if Minnesota really liked Thompson, and somehow the Cavs get the Pistons #8 (for taking Rip's contract), and then send Tristian Thompson and whoever DET takes at #8 for Derrick Williams.

But the odds of that happening are probably 0.0000000000000001%.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I still think the Cavs would have been better off with Williams and Walker then what they got.

As much as I love the NFL - I have to also say the NBA draft is better. Beyond the quicker pace.....they actually leave the suspense.
I hate how the NFL coverage now either has an expert giving the pick or show the player on the cellphone. I dig that when Stern comes up you're not sure what the pick is going to be.
