How much would you pay for base?

Hey guys

I am soon going to try and sell lots of single base cards via PWE trades.

I am working on making an inventory on here (which is just something that helps you list all of your cards so people can search ur cards for certain names/sets). I hope to finish it sometime within the next month or so, but i have easliy 3-5 thousand base cards and am only up to 1k.

so my question is, how much should i charge for them each? 25 cents? if its a rookie 50 cents?... i figured something like that would work with certain exceptions for certain players. and then just add shipping rates, which shouldn't be too high because i would ship PWE.

so how much would you pay for base cards of someone you would collect with or without shipping?

i personally think .25 is far to much for a base card .. i think 0.5c is more reasonable ...

just as an example someone on here sold me 80 Orlando Magic cards ... 70 Base + 10 Inserts for $8.00 dlvd to the UK

well obviously selling team lots -- 80 at a time -- is an ENTIRE different story.

im saying if you were to buy one individual card. its not worth my time to sell cards one buy one at 5 cents each, unless there were a good number at once.

Ooo sorry .. i thought you meant selling them in big lots at .25c a card .... but i agree i think player lots of like 5-10 base are alright for .20c a card ?

ya exactly.. because i know there are quite a lot of people on here who look for base of a certain player and can buy.

As long as its a player I like. i.e. Jason Kidd/Dirk Nowitzki- I would pay a quarter a card easily.

You could do something similar to COMC model. You can 10 cents for commons 25 cents for stars and 35 cents for rookies then $3.00 for shipping and 25 cents for each additional card.

ya i was thinking something like that, except for lower shipping until it reached a certain number where id ship bubble mailer. thanks
