Damaged Card what to do? Please Help

Opened a box of 10/11 Artifacts today. Got a triple patch Parise/Toews/Stafford /40. The patches aren't the best.

Parise all white.
Toews Black White.
Stafford would conside this a jersey swatch more then a patch. a bit of white and yellow patch

I love this card even if the patches aren't the best, because it is my first Toews patch I pulled.

The problem is it is damaged. It is noticeable too. I want to keep the card. But I won't enjoy it as much with the damage.

Should I go through all the hassle with UD to get it fixed? I hate having cards from packs damaged.

I hope they can replace it with the same card and not have to replace it with a different one.

I also worry that the patches might be a down grad. I have heard many stories of cards coming back with less impressive patches.

Is it something to do with all three going to Shattuck-St. Mary’s in Minnesota?

That would possibly be North Dakota, because the back of the card is lettered NODAK is it not?

If you call into UD customer service to ask for a replacement. It's really going to be a whatever you can get in return with Artifacts cards. I don't think they will have any in stock, because I do believe most will have been packed, boxed, and shipped.

I had this happen last year with an Ovechkin Frozen Fabrics /199, and they replaced it with a UD Game Jersey. Albeit the value was greater on the GJ. The nice thing though for my troubles they added a bonus Jagr/Elias/Michalek OPC Materials for good measure.

You could contact UD to see if they would replace the exact same card, but it's not likely. What will most likely happen is they will probably try to get you something similar to what you have, and it doesn't hurt to mention what else you collect. Sometimes the bonuses are a nice surprise!

Give them a call later this week (they're moving so everything to do with UD is down right now) and see what they can do for a replacement. You may end up getting the same card with different patches, you may end up getting something different.
