You're not comparing apples to apples. When you go to the movie's you're paying for entertainment. So you are getting something in return.
You must have not looked around recently for Junior autographs. I've been picking them up for about $30 a piece - unless it's a low serial number or five star.

other thing is that jeremy just paid $20 on stealth blasters and he could have come out empty. but ohhhhh he'll buy something that could end up worthless also but not a box of fan fare that you will at least get a $1 card out of it or more.

There's a huge difference. At least I got 8 packs to open with the Stealth blasters. Plus, I already knew the odds were against hitting anything.
With this, you only get one pack for that same price. 10 seconds of excitement. And you're virtually guaranteed to get a horrible hit.
If all you care about is getting a hit, then Fanfare is for you. I enjoy opening blasters when I'm bored because I can open a few packs for fairly cheap...I don't buy blasters with the hopes of making my money back, because I'm not in the hobby for money.

Once again you're not comparing apples to apples. Jeremy paid $20 for a stealth blaster box. The $20 for fanfare is for 1 pack.
Press Pass FanFare! This all new set delivers the best value of the year with an authentic on-card autograph or race-used memorabilia card in every $19.99 pack!

So you'll be paying $20 for 5-8 cards.
