    Hobby Boxes?

    Hey everyone,
I'm thinking about purchasing a hobby box in either football or baseball. Do any of you have suggestions where I can land a box with good RC's, auto's, game-used stuff? Thanks for the help!

I have not purchased a hobby box since '02 (not by choice - mobilized soldier), but I don't think you can go wrong with them. You roll the dice with retail boxes, you may get a dud (a $19.99 '05 Upper Deck mini-box was very weak for me - netted a Adam Dunn swatch) or a winner (I pulled a Thome swatch and a Jeter swatch from $9.99 ESPN mini-boxes - 3 packs w/ a 20 card pack). So far this summer, I have struck out completely buying individual packs. Your best bet is always a box. Purchase what you like or think looks good. Good luck! Steve
