    Low-end Patch/Auto Set

Im really wanting to do a set, but having some problems picking a set. Preferably from a lower end set (Not The Cup lol). I liked SP Game Used patches /35 but there are too many cards and too many high end players. What do you guys suggest?

like ud1 or 2 or both jerseys...artifacts patches might be expensive...any auto set that has sid or ovechkin or both will be a good penny probably

Low-end and Patch or Auto set is not something that usually is said in the same sentence because of the costs associated with them.

However with that said, BAP Signatures are usually relatively inexpensive (if you do not mind a Sticker Auto. If you are looking for a Patch set, I would look at an Artifacts Patch set (Treasured Swatches or Frozen Artifacts) as they start @ #/50.

I dont mean low-end as you think, im talking not the Cup or like SP Authentic Patch autos that fetch hundreds. Artifacts would be in my price range. I have to do some research.

here is the one (Frozen Artifacts) I put together a few years ago

Kovalev, Ovechkin, Raycroft, Steen, Tanguay, Boyes, Federko, Gionta, Morrison, Ranford, Smith, Chelios, Drury, Ciccarelli, Joseph, Neely, Pronger, Ward, Alfredsson, Cloutier, Hawerchuk, Legwand, Yashin, Sittler (jersey only made), Weight, Belfour, Malkin, Staal, Anderson, Lafleur (jersey only made), Hasek, Zetterberg, Kovalchuk, Bouwmeester, Cheechoo, Iginla, Lehtinen, Sakic, Spezza, Lehtonen, Tkachuk, McDonald, Robinson, McCabe, Hossa, Lemieux, Morrow, Richards, Salming, Shanahan

pretty good mix of players and no one that broke the bank
came to just about just over $550 when all was said and done
average around 11.84 per card which included shipping
Ovechkin was the highest priced card at just over $40

my suggestion find a set design you like
look at the checklist and see if you find the list appealing
have a budget in mind and determine if there is anything in the set that would prohibit you from completing the set
    have fun
