    Grading for the first time

I have a Patrick Roy OPC RC and I want to have it graded. This will be my first time. I did the research and PSA seems to be the most popular and desired method for older cards. BGS is an option as well. I looked them both up, and after fees, shipping and return shipping, it runs about $30-35 a card. Am I doing this wrong? How come I see people selling graded cards for a lot less than that on eBay. Are all these ppl losing money on their cards? If it costs that much to simply grade, why did I just buy an Eberle and Subban YG graded by BGS for roughly $30 a piece?

BGS and I assume PSA all have better pricing for more cards that they grade. For example, if you were to send in 100 cards to BGS the cost is $7/per card.

Obviously sending in 100 cards is very unlikely, but there are bulk submissions that are done on this board (one just closed) so keep an eye out and join the next one to have some graded.

Here is the link to the US members submission that was just sent in a few weeks ago. cheers!
