Which current players are HHOF bound?
With the newest inductions being announced yesterday, this had me thinking; what current players are locks for the Hall?
My list is short:
Brodeur
Lidstrom
Jagr (Everyone knows he's coming back this season!)
Modano
I won't include Crosby or Ovechkin because, IMODO, they haven't played long enough.
How about your opinions or anyone I left off.

Mark Recchi, I suspect, will get there too. Same with Selanne.
Hasek is playing overseas still (I think??) so does he count? Not sure about Federov's status - but I know he was playing in Russia too.
I would suspect that while they're still only "close" to HOF careers, guys like Iginla, Thornton, Lecavalier, and St. Louis are all on track for it.

He beat me to it above me, I was going to say Recchi will most likely end up in the hall, and Selanne as well

Here's a few who I can see having there spots locked up.
RW: Jarome Iginla, There Might be a little biased in this because o the facts I am a Flames fan. Sure no Cup, but 2 Olympic Golds along with many other international Golds/Silvers/Bronzes He's the Flames All-time Leading Scorer. He has 10 straight 30 goal seasons, Currently over 1000 Points and nearing 500 goals.
RW:Also Jaromir Jagr, 1599 points in 1273 Games pretty much sums up why he should be included.
C: Joe Thornton, 1001 points in 995 Games, Some nice international accolades as well as some NHL hardware including a Hart in '06
D: Nicky Lidstrom... do I really need to explain anything
G: Martin Brodeur... Like Lidstrom, he's a no-brainer.

I did forget about Teemu. I thought about Mark Recchi, but I'm not too sure about him being a sure-fire lock.
Iginla, Thornton, Lecavalier, & St. Louis are possible to marginal at best.

If Mark Howe can make it to the HHOF I think there's no doubt Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin, Tim Thomas, Martin Brodeur, Nick Lidstrom...Guys like this should all be locks in this case, maybe Kesler if he continues the way he has the past couple of years.

I'm going to throw a name out there that may get some laughs, but.... Danny Briere.
He'll have to finish his career strong, but if he wins a cup or 2 and continues solid point production, specifically in the playoffs, I don't think it's that much of a reach. His playoff attributes are really the driving points to my argument. He is among some of the upper echelon of hockey history as far as post season scoring go. If you look at his points per game during the playoffs it ranks just outside the top 25 with some pretty amazing players. He's played in a couple of all star games, won an all star game MVP award so he's not totally devoid of accolades.
It's definitely a long shot, and he will have to stay out of injury trouble and continue producing and win a cup and some more all star games or awards, but figured I'd throw him out there as a long shot possibility.
