I actually like Casspi. I hope he pans out here. Now I just hope they get smart and deal away Gibson.

Don't forget the massive contracts given to Travis Outlaw and Amir Johnson (I think it was...) this past offseason. Good move by the Cavs, in my opinion. Casspi is a pretty solid role player, and the have the exact same player (with more potential) in Tristyn Thompson. Plus a first round pick eventually...I like it.

Not when your one of the top scoring options on a team, that is not that great. He at least needed 4-6 more points in a game, but I will admit he is great at the boards. Very inconsistant player, he wasn't a scoring option that Scott could lean on. That's what your new coach wants at that position. I think he had his fingers in drafting TT at #4.
Hickson wasn't only a rubber crutch just really didn't fit with Byron Scott's set plays. I think Scott was riding him all year to get his numbers up, just to turn around and use him as trade bait. It is not like the Cavs aren't known for tanking the reg season to got better draft positions.
The Amare for JJ Hickson thing would have never happened.
IMO the CAVs have gotten better and are full of potential now. If I were a Cavs fan, I would be more excited about the upcoming season. But then again the only way to go is up after last year.
