I do not understand what Homer romp. It really what he wants, the Flyers to make it playing in white gloves? Leaving players as Leino, Carter, Richards & Carcillo and coming grandfather Jagr, a weakling Voracek and Lilja ? It is the rope or guillotine. Homer could eliminate someone.

I'm just hoping that the Leafs don't sign Brad Richards. Last thing we need is another immovable mammoth contract of a potentially underachieving player (well if he plays for Toronto that is).

And in a move that surprises probably nobody...
Brad Richards is going to the Rangers. 9 years - some fluctuation on the dollar value, with a couple sources saying $57M and another $58.5M.
As always, heavily front-loaded.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

TSN is reporting 58.5 for 9 years ,Stamkos being a FA could blow the roof off some ones cap today..But I believe him to be resigning with Lighting, Yzerman wont let him go that easy

The money per year for Richards is good, but I am surprised he would want to commit 9 years with them. The Rangers have potential, but no sure bet to win a cup in the next 9 years. Hopefully he has an opt out cause.
