hey i noticed that panini uses the same picture of players in different caards dont you guys think its a rip off. example if i have a 09-10 threads card of lets say paul pierce and on the 10-11 threads is the same pic i would think its a rip off. idk maybe its just me. and another thing. i have a panini classic great kukoc thats numbered but i also have the same card nothing different,i inspected the card from front to back and theres nothing different whats the point of tha?. any info from fellow forum members? what you guys think?

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Panini cards! Too lazy and cheap to get new pictures every year apparently, which doesn't make any sense when its guys still playing so there new photos every year. And with making a multiple numbered parallels of every card they have there isn't much they can do to actually differentiate them now!

Nothing new and nothing that wasn't done before Panini came along. Topps and Topps Chrome had the same pictures and Upper Deck did it as well.

Topps also did this with the same photo in different sets and designs so its not just panini. Its all of the companies

The parallels do always have differences. The usual difference (which can be hard to notice sometimes) is that the text on the front of the card (the set logo eg) is different colors, i.e. silver, gold, blue, platinum. Also the parallel differences can be die-cut vs. not, etc.

100% correct. I was sorting through some 08-09 stuff and there was 3 or 4 different products with the same exact picture.

I know there's a witch hunt but market flooding, stickers, high prices and w/e else we hate can be equally divided among everyone....including us as consumers Nothing just happened.

UD & Topps are guilty of the same thing, anything to save a buck, right?

Yeh not really sure what youre complaining for lol, all the companies have done it

Also on the parallels, I agree that Panini needs to make them differ more, like they did with Certified
