Mystery package...
Hey
So, I got a package in today, but the problem is that I don't know who its from...it has a return address, but I don't reconize it. Inside the package is a Ryan Kesler monikers gold autograph /50, and a national hockey card day pack. there is no note.
This person lives in brampton, ontario, and apparently has a cardstore called Cardboard memories Inc. the owner of the store is Dave. But Iv been looking at older threads, and it looks like Dave (the owner of Cardboard memories) does not have an SCF account.
Since there is no home address, I searched the SCF database for people that live in brampton, but I never have traded with and I am not good friends with any of those users.
I am pretty sure that I have never traded with this person before as i do not reconize the address or name.
But I do remember someone offering me a kesler monikers auto gold /50, like 1-2 months ago, but im pretty sure I erased that PM to create more room in my PM box. The good thing, is that there is an email address on this package, so if worst comes to worst, I can always email this person.
So, if anyone has any info on this person, or if you are that person, please let me know,
Cheers,

heres what im guessing happened
the person who sold it to you does not ship, so he ships through his local card shop.
he gave the card to him and asked him to ship it to you, or something, and the note was forgotten, or misplaced by the owner perhaps.
he may have told you in the pm, and you deleted it.
thats all i can guess

I know Cardboard Memories. I highly recommend them, but really, I have no idea who sent this if it wasn't Dave (owner of Cardboard memories)
Hey MasonRaymond0320,
As far as I know Dave is not a member of this site, but I could be wrong.
I used to go to Cardboard memories all the time when I was a kid. My dad even helped implement their computer inventory system and was always taking me there. Dave's really great.
I didn't even know that he had an employee. Its a very small shop. As far as Mods go, none of us are from Brampton, except me and I haven't really lived there in over 10 years.
Is it possible that its something from your contest win?

You can also check out our member locater here:
https://www.sportscardforum.com/scf/location/page/1
and just use "brampton" as the city and hit search. You can see if there's a name you recognize.
This is also him on eBay:

Regardless, I can pretty much guarantee that a Mod would NEVER give away your address to a third party, even if it was for a prize. They'd ask you first. HOwever, if you made a trade with someone its possible they got your address from the TM and then gave it to DAve for him to send you something...
If you can't figure out what it is, start a thread. Its entirely possible someone from Brampton saw that card in his shop & bought it for you, but asked Dave to mail it for him
Heck, since you have his phone number, you can always call him too.
Cheers,
reoddai
I would also mention that Cardboard memories was recently featured in an UD contest and is very hobby friendly I encourage everyone to go give him a visit.
