    Question Best cards for autos?

I'm looking to get a box or two of cards for IP and TTM autographs. I would prefer a recent release (08 or 09 and newer) I was thinking of something like A&G or Gypsy Queen. Any other ideas?

    Thanks.

Do you mean best by getting a clean sig without worrying about eraser or baby powder? Either of those would be good. Any year of the recent Topps Heritage too.

Score & Topps Magic work well too. They sign beautifully, without any powder/eraser.

Yeah, pretty much any set that looks nice signed. Looking mainly for baseball. Thanks for the ideas.

I agree w/ the A&G here, but it does not give you a good amount for those who sign. There is really two ways to go...

    Topps Heritage, as mentioned:

    Topps 206:

or for a twist in the system, 07 Fleer works well:

Also if you want to do something different, there was Topps Turkey Red from 05-07 + the 10-11 insert set. Some examples from the 2007 Turkey Red:

I'm a big fan of the Turkey Red as well as the A&G.

Building off the "Turkey Red" suggestion I'd always suggest picking up some Perez Steele "Great Moments"(look just like the Turkey Reds but much larger) and "Celebrations" if your trying to get some HOFers. HOF pcs sometimes smear or "bubble" due to the gloss. Standard Perez Steele's have some gloss as well but the Great Moments and Celebration sets have 0 gloss and look great. I have Irvin, Doerr, Snider, and Kaline and they look awesome.

I second the choice of Topps Heritage and Turkey Red. The Heritage cards are my favorite to get signed along with older topps.

I know that this isn't a box but the insert cards that come out each month in SI Kids are perfect for obtaining autos. I got a lot of my nba/wnba ip autos and baseball/football/hockey ttm autos from them.
