Press Pass and Sage Junk??
Somebody has to answer me something. I buy a ton of lots on eBay. All sellers usually say something to the effect of ,"no Press Pass or Sage or other junk" I seem to find that Press Pass at least has decent value are nice cards and provide some decent autos and inserts. I realize that they only deal with guys in their college uniforms which means no Major sports licensing.
Can anybody tell why these produts have such a negative connotation? Some of the Manning's and other nfl rcs are pretty sweet

I think you answered your own question with "I realize that they only deal with guys in their college uniforms which means no Major sports licensing". for Press Pass anyways. I think Sage has pros in it, but I'm not sure. I am sure that Sage has some of the ugliest, most boring cards I've ever seen. Plus the stickers they use for autos make them sorta illegible, especially when they're scanned. I've bought a pack of Press Pass SE and I could see myself buying PP products in the future, but I won't buy Sage unless it's an amazing deal.

I actually like sage and press pass for players I collect, or for guys who I want a auto of in their college uniform.

I like Sage and Press pass for having the players in their college uniforms. I do think some of the cards are overpriced in Beckett.

I especially like Press Pass cards, for their clean designs on their auto cards and no stickers.

The reason sage/press pass holds little respect in the markets to most is because of the early release date IMO. I believe that it servers better as a filler until the major brands come out. Once that happens, people spend little to no time dealing with Sage/Press pass.
