    97/98 Beehive M.Richard auto

I see these on ebay all the time and they arnt very much. The card says authentic signature. Does anyone have anymore info on these? Why isnt the price more with the scarcity of Richard autos? Im just trying to confirm these are the real deal. Thanks! Brian

They are the real deal. Problem is they are also beehive size, quite a bit larger than a normal card. They were also made by Pacific which produced a ton of product in the late 70's, so they are in turn also perceived as over produced. Still in my opinion they are one of the best deals out there for a Rocket autograph.

Actually they were made by Pinnacle not Pacific. As for price you already touched on the oversize card issue. Additionally they were not tough to pull as most cases of Beehive had at least one if not more of the Richard autos.

yes, still one of the best deals out there. They were not serial numbered so there are as many of the Richard as any of the other Golden Originals but the biggest drawback is the card being oversized just like the Pacific Exhibit Timewarp cards

Collectors are funny eh? "This piece of cardboard is way bigger than my other pieces of cardboard, I don't want it as much." I've never really understood why these go for as low as they do, but if somebody wants to get one this is a great piece to have.

You are correct, they were indeed made by Pinnacle. My left side was fighting with the right side last night and I wasn't able to get either side to think for me.

I have heard rumours in the past though that a ton of those Richard Auto's were signed by someone else, I will try to get ya more info on that.

wow, what a deal! i like the oversize cards, theyre easier to show off. i was wondering what a cool way to display oversizers would be. i have many of them, theyre hard to come by tho. the 06/07 beehive autos are never on ebay and the 05 o6 SPs are hard to get ahold of as well
