Custom quality
Just a quick question to all the experienced custom makers.
Q- Why do my cards not look nearly as nice when I print them as they do on my computer. I use Kirkland Signature Professional Glossy injet Photo paper and I use an HP photosmart 7960 printer. Are these the best quality cards I can make without spending a bundle on a professional printer???
Thanks in advance for any and all input

I had this problem when I first started, you gotta make your customs in 300 PPI. So when you make your template or custom, make sure when you hit new, you select 300 PPI.

thanks for the heads up RPG however I don't believe that is the problem because I always make sure it is set at 300.

Ah--sorry. I just assumed, as it seems to be the most common problem. How do you print them? Get 8 on a 8x10 sheet?

It would help if we knew more about the problem. Is the problem in the actual printing of the card or is your image pixelated? Do you have an example you can scan?

Rockies, I think it is the actual printing because the images never look pixalated. I will be hard to show due to a lack of a scanner, however if you look at the one signed you can see the colour seems off compared to just the jpeg
printed

original jpeg

it might just be me but I was hoping that they could be better.
Thamks for everyones input

Does it print everything like that or just your customs?
Seems to me like a ink cartridge or printer issue more so than something you're not doing with the cards.
