Kronwall cards
I'm doing a PC of Niklas Kronwall, and just wondering whats up with companies doing him in random years, no GU memorabilia except like 2003, and no autos since 08/09?? He has 136 total cards, which would absolutely be AWFUL if he never gets any more made so I can never add onto the PC with new products. How does this work? Did I just pick a bad PC guy?

As a lot of defenceman, Kronwall have very less hobby love.
Furthermore, when manufacturer decide wich Wings players they will put on the set, you can understand why they go with Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Lidstrom, Franzen and Howard. And this is when they don't add Mr Hockey, Alex Delvecchio, Chris Chelios, Terry Sawchuk and Stevie Y to the list.
Hope your guy is traded to the Florida Panther or the NY Islanders. Then he might get more cards every year. And plus, they will be cheap to get because these team are not what you can call hockey cards hot bed.I collect the following:
- Vintage (Stars and RC)
- 2010-11 ITG Decades (Auto, GU, bases)
- Stars from the 1980s (in modern sets)
- Montreal Canadians Legends (bases, inserts, parallels, #, RC, Auto, GU)
- Montreal Canadiens actual players (inserts, parallels, #, RC, Auto, GU)

With all due respect, and I can empathize with you given my #2 PC player, nobody's breaking their boxes or cases in the hopes of landing a Nik Kronwall autograph or jersey card. Granted, the same can be said about a lot of players that do get the semi-regular autograph and memorabilia treatment.
Because there's only so many slots per team, and your team happens to have guys like Datsyuk and Zetterberg on the roster, there's very limited opportunity to get the more minor cogs in the wheel incorporated into checklists.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...
