Feels good to be back
I sent out my first two requests in well over a year. At my apartment I didn't send any out because I knew my wife and I would only be there a year at the most. Turns out we were there less than a year and now that things are getting settled in our new house I decided to begin sending out again with a different twist, I will no longer be taking as many shots in the dark as I did in the past. Instead, I'm going more for my collections of Yankees, Giants, Rangers, Nets, and Knicks but will toss in a few Nationals and Mets as well. Also will be only sending to guys who are good signers. Too much lost on sending to guys who don't sign in the hopes of getting lucky.
Now that things are getting settled here and my office/memorabilia room is finally shaping up, I will eventually be posting pictures. I wish I had enough wall space for my jerseys, all the 8x10's, and the like. I never knew how crazy my collection got until I had to unpack it all and tried to get it set up! Just to give you an idea of what it will look like, there are currently 102 autographed baseballs out (not all are going to be displayed), 17 signed pucks, a small sign from the old Yankee Stadium, a signed Joe DiMaggio photo, a Derek Jeter/Phil Rizzuto photo, Dave Winfield signed photo, Graig Nettles signed photo, and a Whitey Ford 11x14 along with a signed picture f Phil Rizzuto, Tommy Henrich, Bobby Brown, Hank Bauer, and Allie Reynolds, then there is a 16x20 Tom Hanks as Capt. Miller photo, a signed drawing of fighter ace Boots Blesse, and 8x10's of Jason Kidd, Peyton Manning, Michael Strahan, Eli Manning, Tiki Barber, Plaxico Burress, Antonio Pierce, Jeremy Shockey, Amani Toomer, and Aaron Ross/James Butler. There is also a signed replica helmet signed by Joe Morris and signed 8x10. Thats not even close to all of it. I have hundreds of 8x10's and probably tens of thousands of signed cards at this point. I still needs about a zillion frames to get it all nice. Like I said, I will post pics once it gets completely done. What's really sad is there is no room for all my autographed jerseies so I will have to wait to refinish the basement to hang them down there to compliment the game room we are installing.

Thanks! I have been Jonesing for over a year now. Sent out my first two requests today to Jordan Zimmermann and Mike Leake. Got a couple more ready for tomorrow already, Jose Tabata and John Lannan. Hopefully I will get a few more done.

Glad you are back! I hate unpacking stuff, but it is always amazing the items you forgot you had. Best of luck on the mailings.
