I recently visited St. Louis and went to 1,000,000 Baseball Cards in Manchester. They had some stuff, but not much. I believe I paid $120 for a box of SPA.

There's a really nice shop in the East St. Louis area in Illinois. Can't remember exactly what it's called. I went down there to visit some family around Christmas. Came home with a Kane Ultimate Collection Auto Jersey /25, set me back just $25, the next one on the Bay went for $40. They also had a Price UC RC /99, would have bought it too, but when I went back with the funds it was gone! Anyway, definitely a must to go to. I'll try to find more details.

It kind of depends on what you're looking for...

If you're looking for singles, a guy down in Arnold just closed up his shop, but I can get you his contact info if you'd like. He had a lot of nice singles when I stoppped in his shop about a month or so before he closed. I didn't have enough time to look thoroughly then unfortunately and couldn't get back down to Arnold before he closed :-(

1000000 Baseball Cards on Manchester in west County has a decent inventory of Blues and more recent stars - even a lower graded Gretzky RC (unsure of the brand off-hand) but he is a little over-priced IMO. Asks BV for sale price and doesn't move much from that at all - even to regulars! He does trade BV to BV though if it is something he thinks he can move. He usually has a decent amount of wax for OIN (open it now) prices as opposed to web dealer prices - i.e. you're going to pay at least a $25 premium. I would call (Wally) to check on his wax inventory or to see when he is getting more in before going if you're looking for wax. He has a Beckett store under his store's name if you want to check his some of his inventory and prices - FYI, if it ends in .88 it's not really his card, he is selling it on consignment I think.

2 places in St. Charles, Collector's Store on 94 and I forget the other place (it's in St. Peters off Mexico). Collector's Store is more of a non-sports store (yugio and beanies or webkins or whatever they're called) but he does have singles and some overpriced wax the couple times I made the drive. The other place on or off Mexico had a lot more wax and a counter display or 2 of singles. Prices were on par with most STL LCS.

I've been frequenting Sports Card Dugout in Webster Groves in the Yorkshire Plaza on Watson Road (at Laclede Station) lately. Most of his singles are not on display, but he does have some on display and I'm sure you can look through his stash lol. His wax selection is generally low, but his prices are the best I've found in STLMO. I think he gets more wax in on Thursdays usually - once again, give him (Randy) a call and he'll tell you what he has in and what/when he is getting delivered. I know this means nothing, but I pulled an Ice Hall RC and SPA FW Hall RC from boxes I bought at his store. I also opened at least 2 - maybe 3 Certified Hot Boxes as well lol!

There are also monthly shows you can find the schedule online by googling St. Louis Sports Collectors. There are mainly baseball dealers, but usually a few tables of hockey sprinkled in...bring cash as most can't accept credit or debit cards!

I met a couple of East side dealers at these shows - maybe the guys mentioned above, not positive...they had a fairly decent amount of and nice quality cards displayed at the shows.

Hope this helps! PM me with any questions!
