Yashin returning to NHL???

Alexei Yashin's agent Mark Gandler tells SovSport Yashin has an offer from one NHL club. KHL's SKA didn't extend his contract.

Asked if the Islanders is NHL club with an offer for Yashin, Gandler said he didn't want to name the club.
I mainly wonder if the team could be Minnesota. Columbus is another team I wonder about.

It better not be Buffalo. This would ruin the entire off-season that Sabres have had.... even if it's for the league minimum

Man you have to be scraping the bottom of the barrel for talent is you're chasing after Yashin. Hard to believe their isn't someone else in your system with more grit than Captain useless.

He should stay overseas. . .but who knows maybe the Islanders will opt for a 2nd go at it since they are still prolly paying his fat contract off haha

I doubt he would return to the Isles. First, he's not contracted with them anymore since they bought him out and now they are on the hook for $2.2million until the end of the 2014-15 season. Plus, I don't think he would last that long in NYI since there would be a ton of hate for him there.
