Feedback Opinion
i always see people asking for opinions on what they would do if they were in the shoes in regarding leaving feedback. So i have one where im struggling with leaving neutral or postive.
The trade is base lot trade of my favorite players and team. But has been going on for a month approx. After approx 2 weeks i get a msg stating
"OK thanks! Yours is going out tomorrow, I was literally completely broke so I couldnt send. Thanks! "
Fast fwd to this past friday and i send a msg "Hi , i was going over my recent trades and noticed i havent received yours let. Hopefully all is well though there and its on the way here. "
today i recvd a reply back "Hi there- Just got back from vacation a couple days ago. I was waiting to see what you sent untill I decided what to send. Your package will be out tomorrow."
Im leaning toward neutral because a) they said they were sending it out on 7/2 or 7/4 and it's 7/17 b) because of them purposefully saying i waited to get your package and see what i got which was 3 weeks ago.
only reason for a positive would be me eventually getting the cardsTrading for Steelers,Penguins,Pirates and Michigan players in Michigan uni
Thanks to the USPS Shipping only to US addresses.
Shipping done on Saturdays no matter when the trade is confirmed

This imo does not warrant a positive feedback. You are generous with a neutral. From what I can tell, especially with your feedback, it was expected that you both would send at the same time.
There is no reason you should have waited so long without contact from the other individual about the process of the trade.
The whole "I was waiting to see what you send" is what annoys me as well. What's the point of a feedback system and in your case having over 400 positive feedback if you still have to wait until the other has received.
If there is no contact, no mentioning of what he was intending to do how are other traders suppose to trust this person in future trades.
Feedback are for all traders to see, not just you so it helps a lot of people on the forums here.
No matter if the deal is successful or not it doesn't warrant a positive. (Just imagine a successful deal but having bad contact and over several months before the deal is actually complete... Yeah, you got the card and stuff but... the process?)
Thats my opinion.Last edited by Yipper; 07-17-2011 at 02:06 PM.

i agree with above post. The other party lied to you and did not keep his part of the deal. Everywhere has internet including hospitals, so its unlikely he was trying to contact you but couldnt. I def. wouldnt leave a positive. If the deal is that both parties send at the same time, then hes not following the rules and may burn someone in the future

this is dispute filing... its clear that this person does not have any sense of urgency with this deal.

I think you would be completely justified in leaving a neutral feedback, maybe even a negative. The "I was literally completely broke" excuse and waiting to see what you sent to decide what they should send. That's laughable. I think I would be leaning towards a negative personally.
