SCF's Favorite Member Contest- 2011 Edition!

I saw this in the archives and thought it would be cool to start it up again. Here is what Edition 1 was like:

We did something like this on a similar forum a long time ago, it was tons of fun...

Basically it's a fun "tournament" type thing with 30 members where the SCF community votes for there favorite member based on whatever you'd like. We'd go through 4 rounds of voting to reach the finals to see who earns SCF's Favorite Member. To enter yourself in the competition, read-on for the guidelines.

The first rule to entering is you can't be a moderator, super-mod, admin, or anything like that, you must be a normal member. Staff in training is fine also. Staff is defintley aloud to vote though....

Second is you must be somewhat known and have contributed by posting in the SCF boards. I'm looking for 30 of the best members possible, no joined Feburary 2009, 43 posts, 1 trade, sorry.

If you'd like to enter just post saying so and make it clear, if I think you've contributed I'll put you in one of the groups.

Here's some more detail into how the tourney will work, when I say "top X move on", that means the top X ammount of people with the most votes:

Round 1, Group 1: Top 4 Move On
Round 1, Group 2: Top 4 Move On
Round 1, Group 3: Top 4 Move On

Round 2, Top 12 From Round 1: Top 6 Move On

Round 3, Top 6 From Round 2: Top 3 Move On

Round 4, Top 3 From Round 3: Member W/ Most Votes Wins!

Now for the groups, once accepted you'll be placed in a random group. Once a groups fills up I'll start the polling/voting for that group.



I'm looking for max particapation, I think this could be really fun if a lot of SCF got involved! This is in no way a competitive competion, no betting or prizes are awarded...

This one will be nearly identical, with a few exceptions:
*All staff members are welcome to participate!
*You cannot have the flashing MSF tag
*No more than 1 negative feedbacks

And I think that is just about it!

You may enter yourself or enter somebody else.

Once it is full with 30 members, we will start the voting.

Just like the first one, there will be no prize, other than personal pride

Please remember that personal attacks will not be tolerated. You don't have to vote for someone, but saying something negative about them will not be acceptable.

I am allowed to enter? I've done almost a thousand posts in like 2 months, and some trades, as well as welcomed new members, and I'm running a contest. Not trying to brag. I just thought that it might be helpful to know.
