Today's eBay wins!
Hey everyone,
So, today I was scanning and surfing around eBay when I came across a couple of cards. The first, a 2003 UD Patch Collection HOF Manufactured Patch #145 Joe Morgan. The second, a 2011 Topps Allen and Ginter Relic B.J. Upton.
Well, the 2003 UD Patch was a BIN for $18. Considering the card's HBV is $5, I was not going to offer past that. The seller accepted the offer and now, I am another card closer to finishing this set!
Here is a pic of the actual card...

BUT WAIT... there were 2 cards mentioned in the opening dialogue of the message! Just searching randomly, I came across the 2011 Topps A&G B.J. Upton Relic. I am a fan of the Upton brothers but not enough that I am going to drop a heavy dime on B.J's cards; Justin is more of an exception being the DBACk and all! LOL.
So, with 45 mins left on the auction and me being tired from working 13 hours, I put a $3 bid on the card and went to bed. Again, if I lost the auction it wouldn't have left me mad or upset but it would be an awesome addition to my 06-11 A&G Relics/AU. When I woke up for work, there it was... WON and ready to be paid for!!! Oh, and I forgot to mention in all this that it was a Travel Day Plaid relic!!
Here is the pic from the auction!

I am unsure of the rarity of a plaid PLAYER relic, but this has to be the most awsome A&G relic of a player I have seen. I think I will hold onto it for the time being until I decide to part with it or hold it just to add to my 06-11 A&G Relics/AU Collection.
Well, if you made it through this rant, thanx for the look,

I'm not a huge Ginter fan, but I must admit the plaid is cool. Thanks for sharing!
