If they start this crap, I will Boycott Topps forever. Biggest load of crap I've heard of in the sportscard world.

Well considering a Jay-Z auto would pay for my box and then some, I wouldn't mind pulling one. ;)

Well this was a cool idea the first time when it was called, "ProSet SuperStars MusiCards" back in 1991. Does anyone remember how that set flopped?
I think the reason Topps is doing this is because Jay- Z is the ultimate marketing tool and anything he is associated with catches on fire. We need more people in the hobby and I actually think this might work! So bring it on!

While we are at it, lets get a South of the Border card of Pedro with an M-80 insert.....or how about a White Castle burger card......maybe a subset of rappers vs. country vs. classical vs. metal......Or how about adding some poker players, no wait I already had that idea in another post that I actually agree with. While I think Jay-Z is very talented, I dont think anyone outside the sport should have a card outside of an occasional subset.

A perfect example of why I'm glad I don't buy basketball cards. What a piece of garbage.

I'm still waiting for someone to include a Jerry Seinfeld auto in their set... That be the @#$&!!!! I'd have to own one of those!

I did pull a Nelly Auto out of UD Signature and I was pretty pi$$ed actually... I can see people getting upset if it's a 1 per pack auto and you buy a BK product and get a 'showbiz star' but if it's just an added bonus, I say why not?

No, but I had quite alot of Yo! MTV Raps cards about 12-13 years ago. I had all the stars; Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, the rest of them. Anyone else have any TMNT cartoon cards?
