    Card Organization Problem... Help!

I own over 5000 cards, and I need a simpler, quicker way to pull cards for ttm and IP. Specific questions I have; What size boxes should I buy?, Should I use organization software?, Should I organize them alphabetically? (I think it would take signficanty longer time) Thanks for your help please feel free to share whatever you do to organize your cards, so that you know which cards and players you have. Thanks

when i purged my collection of all the commons i organized all the remaining players alphabetically and put them in 9 pocket binder pages. then separated those binders into HOF players, future HOFers, other stars, and a whole binder for my phillies cards. took forever but it's way easier to find stuff now, used to have them separated by year and team.

For what you are wanting to do, you will want to go with an alphabet system. Yes, it seems time consuming but then you should save a lot of time when pulling stuff for last-minute events.

I have done this with my FT/FS inserts and I can find any player in a matter of seconds.

I have about 8000 cards and this is how I organized them. I did it alphabetically and even though it was a pain to do at first, it was well worth the time. I use 800 and 1600 ct boxes along with some 400 ct boxes so they all fit in a plastic bin under my bed just a piece of paper with a letter on it to segment the different last names. I find it works great and makes it a breeze to find cards of players that I want to send to.
