    Pawtucket Red Sox @ Buffalo Bisons Game...Nice Surprise

    Even though I am a huge Yankee fan, I respect all talent in baseball. Even the Red Sox. A couple of friends and I wanted to go to a Bisons game, the local AAA affiliate to the Mets. I looked online and as soon as I saw the Bisons were playing the Sox I was stoked. Two of my favorite young players, Daniel Nava and Lars Anderson were on the Pawtucket Red Sox. Needless to say, I was stoked. I was upset Daniel Nava wasn't playing for some reason, but I was still happy that I got to see Anderson at first. I yelled his name a few times and he nodded at me. When the game was over, the Bisons lost 4-2. This was my chance. I saw Lars heading to the dugout and I yelled "Mr Anderson!" as I held my ball and sharpie in my hand. He opened his hands and I tossed him my sharpie and the ball. I was so happy. Here's the pic:



    Overall it was a great day with my friends. Tomorrow the Sox are still in town and it looks like were gonna have a box! Feel free to reply!

    I'm glad you had a good experience....but it's very different from my encounters with Lars over the past couple seasons.

    I've attended many Sea Dogs & PawSox games. Maybe he's softened his attitude since his status has fallen a bit within the organization. My wife and I have found him to be extremely rude and snobby in person, while nearly all of his teammates were friendly and inviting to fans. I've been a die-hard Sox fan all my life, but I will never root for that man.

    Congrats on the signing that's awesome! I'm a big fan of his as well. I hope Lars can live up to the hype from a few years back when he was in A ball.
