    NFL Training Camps

Just wanted to get some of your thoughts on the hopefully upcoming NFL training camps. Do you think it will be tougher to get autos this year as the players will have less time in camp and players being added later in camp will cause them to have to work more on chemestry and heaven forbid a new coordinator bringing in new systems? Will it be a tough year to mail to camps or just the opposite? Will the players sign better as they know fans are not happy that the NFL was having issues over how to split OUR money and want to send along good will with answering auto requests and doing more charity and community work?

I bet they sign more because of the lock out.

I"m 50/50 on this deal. At first I was gooing to send like crazy but I'm not sure now. I feel that with a short camp, the successes will be even less.

Is sending to NFL Training Camps usually good? I know ST for baseball is amazing, but I haven't seen as many successes from training camp. I have a team set of Colts cards I'd love to send out, and I hear they're good about signing at Training Camp

The only thing that I think is changed this year is the window for sending out to these players. The players signing habits aren't changing, so I don't think that they won't be signing as much, but you just have to send obviously before camp ends.

I think with the shortened TC it would make the successes out of camp less then the usual.

I think during the regular season youll see a few new players who normally dont sign TTM picking it up. I bet we see the long shot too, it will be fun to see how it all goes down!

I know in the past I have gotten some nice camp autos that I did not expect to actually land. TO and Brees have been my best training camp shockers. I still just might wait until the season starts. I still have some retired legends to drop in the mail and there are very few new NFL rookies from OSU this year. I have already gotten Pryor and his two letter TP auto.

I might drop a line out to Jermille Hines, but that might be it for me in camp. Good luck to those who try as you might catch lightning in a bottle!

I was going to say "Awesome Pryor!" but it's not any more because it's Pryor, haha...how did you happen to get that?

I know a guy who is related to a player who went to OSU and graduated last year. He always invited me down to Columbus to see his nephew play, but I work every Saturday. I would have loved to go down with him as he told me multiple times that he could have gotten me down to the lockeroom and everything. Anyways I was joking one day about wanting his nephews auto jersey to hang next to my Magic Johnson auto jersey at work. The next time I had seen him he gave me an auto photo of both his nephew and Pryor. He is just as crazy a Buckeyes fan as I am, but I am going to split with him on NFL teams as I am not a huge fan of the team who drafted his nephew, but I am sure I will be cheering him on! I might actually end up trying to find a jersey and ask him to get it signed for me. I'm just in no hurry to shell out the $100 for a jersey then another $125 to frame it! Call me cheap but good framing costs too much. I guess doing it right is worth the price.
