    McFarlane Football Autograph Placement Question

    Hi everyone,
I am going to a signing next week for a football player, and I have a recent McFarlane collectible figure in its packaging that I want to get signed. I am wondering what your opinion would be on where to get it signed? The problem is that the base that the figure would be on has a rough "grass" surface, and I'm not sure that it is the best place for a signature, but it might work out. Also, what protection would be available for the signature? I could also get the shell that the figure is on signed, but that may look cheesy.

What are your opinions? Has anyone else gotten McFarlane football figures signed, and what have you done?

    Thanks

    -arfmax
