    Magnetic Holders

What is the best brand for magnetic holders, Ultra-Pro or Pro-Mold? Thanks.

I think it's a matter of preference, but personally I prefer Ultra Pro.

Ultra PRO is the way go GO

I'm just saying that though cause I've never used Pro-Mold lol but I have a few UP magnetics and they are really nice.

As far as magnetic holders go, Ultra Pro is best. But Pro Mold makes better one-screw holders.

The Pro Mold ones don't look as appealing to the eye IMO. Also for thicker cards, the recessed area is waaay too big causing the card to shift around inside the holder.

    Precisely!!!
I called them direct about it and on a separate occasion I chatted live with a rep via their website...
They wouldn't address my concerns, admit the problem, and basically had no idea what I was talking about. I kept explaining it had nothing to do with the PT scale/depth of the holders but with the overall size of the inlay/recessed area top to bottom and left to right.
They basically thought I was nutz.

    Ultra Pro ALL the way!!!

ultra pro is probably the best but really i dont think it is much difference.... i don't really prefer one over the other, just whatever is cheapest. I recently bought an off-brand type (has everything the ultra-pros do, including the UV Ray production) for just $1 a piece at a card show.... I just hate dumping lots of money on supplies. I have been doing rookie auto sets for the last couple of years and it really burns a hole in my pocket spending $60+ on just magnetics for a set

This is totally not true and I'm the guy that you communicated with in the real-time chat on our website. I explained to you that not all cards are perfectly square making them slightly bigger on the width and length dimensions. I also explained to that you should allow some "breathing room" for the card. These are the reasons why our recessed area may be considered slightly over-sized.

Given that there are recessed corners for the weakest part of the trading card, the corners are never touched so even if you think the recessed areas in our holders are too over-sized the cards will never get damaged.

Our card holders are made in the United States of America by our own company, and we use high quality raw material from American Polymer Manufacturers. Our competitors are made by a third party manufacturing company in Taiwan and then imported. Please support American Made Products.

    Thank you.
