my opinion is that it is real. the edges look sharp and don't appear to be tampered. I am definitly not a cup expert but given the price, I don't think the seller or person if they did fake this patch, was doing this for money.

you should be able to get that card at a good price (under $25 IMO). I did some searching and saw some Gillies patch cards from that same set of 249, and others have had similar patches.

it's not like he was an undrafted player. he was a top 20 pick in the draft - give him some time.

I've bought from him before, no problems. Of course, I wouldn't even know what to look for regarding a fake patch.........big help, I know.

I don't see why he would fake this patch given the player name and the patch he used. He were to fake it, he would use a piece of the logo.

Judging from the image, the card looks good.

North-of-7 is a huge ebay dealer with a big reputation, he wouldnt try to pull off a fake i promise you that, and like said above, if they were going to fake a patch and try to get away with it, they'd go for a player with a higher market usually. 99.99% sure its legit

    it's legit

Alot of the "patches" that are used in the Cup and other cards are from adding the Team name to the jersey.

In this case it looks like part of the "D" from Wild

I'll see (or if someone has an example) if I can find and post an example of what i'm trying about.
