I like it. Its not THE 90-91 score design that was hugely popular for its retro last yer, but still lots of great elements.
Plus these:
But perhaps the greatest aspects of 2011-12 Score are the wildly popular — and valuable — Recollection Collection (featuring hard-signed original Score Buybacks from the likes of Mark Messier, Steve Yzerman, Patrick Roy, Ray Bourque and more), Hot Rookies Autographs and Score Signatures autograph programs.
In a victory priced product. Can't go wrong there. I'm just wondering which year they are recollecting. I hope its still the 90-91 year.

Recollection Collection cards are still being pulled from 1990-91 Score. Lots of superstars we didn't use last year, and some different cards available for some of those we did.

Panini has just posted a preview for this year's Net Cam subset. They look great!
"Just as it did last season, the appropriately dubbed insert pays tribute to some of the top goalies in the game with rarely seen imagery that succinctly chronicles the emotion and excitement of hockey’s most collected position. There’s a quiet intensity featured on each one of these cards that only becomes stronger each time you look at them."
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

All of those cards remind of me the covers of the NHL games for NES in the 90's.

I can't wait to see the checklist for the Recollection cards for this year's Score. I'm hoping there is at least 1 Ranger in there for me to chase.

Woof! But Score isn't for the older collector. It's obviously a cheap product to get kids into collecting. And by kids I mean 4-10 year olds. It's a product that Mom and Dad or Grandma and Grandpa can buy for a treat, birthday, etc. I really don't think it's aimed at anyone above that. Hence the 89 cent price point, etc.
