Just wondering what everyone considers their most memorable trade they've made? Please explain why. I'll start off.

I've had a few doozies over the years, but the one that is most memorable would have been my first deal with a fella named bossy'scards. It was a mammoth trade, all the more remarkable since it was our first one ever, and I think we both came away very happy from the experience. We've become good friends since then, and I consider him to be among the very best people in this hobby.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

One of my best deals was getting a Forsberg auto and Maurice Richard auto in exchange for about 10-15 common jerseys and autos. I definitely came out on top on that one! As far as truly memorable, I made a trade at the card show at the 2009 Draft in Montreal...traded for my Howe auto. That was a pretty memorable trade.

When I dealt the following to tkmullin

This was the 1st 1 of 1 I had ever pulled (redemption). I never got the chance to hold the card in my hands, which is a bit disappointing, but look at his Fleury collection and I'm glad that one less set of hands (mine) touched it.

Oh which of the biggies can I chose from?

As you mentioned your trade with Xspyrit. I just did one with him that was great, and was by no means a slouch, however I have had the pleasure with many great traders here.

Some of the trades that come to mind is a big one with Potvinzcat, that was worth at least $1000BV going either way, and all the cards coming to me were Jagr's. I've also had a great on with Bossy'scards too. A bunch of /9 Jagr's came my way. My first trade with KidKanada pulled in a bunch of wants. MatsSundin13rocks was my first SCF contact, ant that trade took 2 months to develop, but it was significant. I could keep mentioning more.

I really can't single out my most favourite trade of the big ones, because they all stand out, but likely my most notable trades actually have come from fellow Jagr collectors Jagr68NYR, Jags16, Pukar, and Churchillea.

For being a passive trader, and never ever starting a thread in Hockey card trading, I have been fortunate to hook up some massive deals, just by being patient, and opportunistic.
Searching for: Jagr, Palffy, Stumpel, and Boyd
***Doing some massive updating. Please be patient!***
My new trade page is almost complete. My player want lists, and PC is still under construction. It's progress is here:

I havent done many big trades on here...mostly low end trades.

trade that i always remember is the trade a did a few months ago with capt55. I gave up crosby trilogy superstar scripts auto + $20

    for:

    Bobby orr 09-10 Ultimate signatures
and an Andrew Alberts rookie plate 1/1

one of the best trades iv done...

another one of my favourite trades would be with craig2. I gave up $20 + Giroux auto + Voracek yg

    for 09-10 stamkos sott

Bobby orr auto and Stamkos sott are 2 of my most favourite cards, mostly because I love hardsigned autos..and they are both in excellent condition :)

and i guess the stammer one was memorable because i had been looking for that stamkos card for a while, and to have finally found it for a good price made me really excited :)

    cheers
    andrew

One of the most memorable for me was a pretty simple trade in which I sent an Enroth YG and a Subban Hot Rookie for a Crown Royale Maxim Noreau Rookie Royalty /499 auto and a Noreau FWA /999. Tim (Tivo32) on accident sent me the wrong FWA (Nick Palmieri) and then sent the Noreau and told me to hang onto the Palmieri for trade bait.

Sounds cool, right? Here's the best part. I get the package later that week and in addition to the Noreau FWA I see that he had thrown in a Noreau Limited Phenoms auto'd jersey card! That stinker! What a jerk to throw in a perfectly good card out of a $100 pack for nothing in return! God bless you, Tim, my friend! I love this hobby.
