Crosby signing for UD

I e-mailed UD 3 days ago about signing for them for a redemption i have(SPA patch/auto) and got nothing. Now, does anyone know when he is going to sign? Because The Cup is suppose to come out 8/31 and wouldnt you think there would be live Sid stuff in it. Any details would be appreciated, because I want this card badly but another 6 month wait doesn't seem cool to me lol. Thanks!

Even if Crosby signed everything and returned it to UD, I'm sure their priority would be Cup first, redemptions second at the moment.

I don't believe that there's been a live Crosby auto in any product since Limited. It's all been redemptions since the injury, and I'm sure that he's taking his rehab 100% as the focus. He will fulfill all of his redemptions in time, but nobody outside of the Crosby camp can really answer the question.

You know he can't be working out for 24/7... If he could take time during the commercial breaks in Jersey Shore to scribble on a card or 2.....

LOL, thats what im saying i dont get what the big deal is and if hes gonna sign stuff for the cup he might as well do SPA too...BOOO on UD for not answering my email

If Crosby doesn't sign before the end of the summer I wouldn't be surprised if the wait becomes even longer. If he hasn't been signing during the off-season, for whatever reason, he may have even less time once the season is underway. Supposedly he's been here in Nova Scotia training so maybe the cards are waiting for him in Pittsburgh?

Whatever the case I'm sure UD is not putting too much pressure on him to risk losing him as a signer.

Someone posted a similar question on Upper Deck's Facebook page a little while back and the response was that Upper Deck would try to book a signing session with Crosby sometime in the fall.

Crosby never had redeptions before his injury he always signed and he will sign these cards.

Yes Sid has no reason not to have these cards signed by now but we also have plyers without injurys not sign cards.

So yeah he will sign.

That's a mis-statement. 06-07 SPA SOTT was a redemption I got. The wait time was roughly 3 months back then.
The longest redemption I've ever waited from UD was 1 year, then I requested for a replacement.
