Contenders - hard-signed rookie autos that hold much better value than the dull /999 Artifacts RCs.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I believe there should still be some golden tickets still un-redeem out there...

Contenders don't have a lot of value except for the big names though...

Artifacts is usually fun to open, a hit in every pack, chances to get really nice hits too....

I bought about a case worth of both, and liked to bust Artifacts more than Contenders, but maybe that's just me.

I like Contenders in small doses, like 1 box. The lure of a golden ticket is nice, but the reality is if you crack a case you may end up with a half dozen Philip McRae autos.

    depends

Autos are better in Contenders as they are RC's but there are no GU cards in it.

I'd say artifacts. Contenders has nice rookie auto's but they aren't that frequent(the big ones). I went away from artifacts this year and now wish I hadn't. I did buy a lot of Limited this year and loved it! But of the 2 you listed, I would do artifacts, Brad.

I'd say save your money and buy a fishing rod. Better returns and much longer fun for value ratio.

There's nothing better than a hard signed auto of a great player. Contenders all the way
