Basic questions about eBay and paypal...

    Hey

I was thinking about joining eBay, but I had a few questions first.

1st question: if I'm just looking to buy on eBay but not sell, do I still have to pay fees?

2nd question: what exactly is paypal? I have looked at the paypal website but it said error whenever I clicked on a link. That was a few days ago btw, so it's probably fixed now, but I'd prefer someone on here to explain it so I don't get confused lol

    thanks in advance

    Cheers
    Andrew

    1. No.
    2. PayPal is the service, owned by eBay, that is used for sending online payments for all purchases on eBay. You can link your PayPal account to your bank account and/or credit card to send payments for purchases made on eBay, SCF, and many other online sites. Fantastic tool

you don't have to pay any fees to buy.

Paypal is just just a quick way to pay, usually linked to a bank account or credit card in order to transfur money.
