Another crazy high eBay seller

the proof cards aren't worth a whole lot. even when i collected basketball they would come up of bigger stars and not bring much more than $10. also, anyone see the hollywood hogan bgs wcw auto for $1600 on ebay?

The guy selling the proof cards is posting over on wrestlingtradingcards.com and I'm actually PM'ing them about but its that guy who posted that "RANTS" thread yesterday wth the massive chunks of near nonsense text and it's impossible to talk to him. I went through his other items for sale and all are way over priced as well including this Bret Hart relic for a starting bid of $200 or BIN of $500:

I get the need to make a buck but it gets pretty crazy sometimes. Theres a seller that bought a card I was watching but was too scared to bid because there was no pic. It turned out legit and now the card he won for under 25.00 shipped is being sold for over 3x that. Even when I won a variation of that same card for 35 and change on an open auction, his "lower" price is still 2x what it might get on an open auction. Needless to say Ill have to pass.

its perfectly fine to flip cards, we can all use money. when you get a great deal on something and decide to flip it for market value or a bit above thats when it works best. wrestling cards in particular are such a small market. we all watch the auctions and have a general idea of what everything goes. for. when someone tries to flip for way over market value i just laugh and say good luck. even if its something i have been looking for for a long time i will not buy it out of principle.

No doubt. I think some sellers that do this and dont get their asking price should be willing to work with more current ending pricing.

Unless they get someone new that doesnt know any better to buy it.
