Hey people from the US buying from Canada- quick question
Has anyone else noticed that Canadian post is even slower now than it was before the postal strike? Ive made 4 buys from great Canadian members in the past 2-3 weeks, and none have arrived yet. In the past, pre-strike, it was usually no more than a 10 day wait. Anyone else having this problem?

Yep, much slower. I've been waiting since June for one package.

I'm a Canadian buyer who has bought equally from the US and Canada since the strike (and before and during but I had a "safe house" in NY for my US-based stuff) and I have to say it's pretty much back to normal for me... I bought a few things on Aug 1 and they've arrived, also a couple things that were sent out in the last week of July, which also have arrived, so I'm not so ready to blame Canada Post. Not sure why things going north to south are so badly delayed... border/customs roadblocks, maybe?

Yes sir. Right here. Made two deals in Canada. One package I literally got in 4 days. I was like Wowww, this isnt going to be so bad. But then, Lets just say Im waiting on the other one still. The guy shipped out on July 12th I think it was...
I wouldve rather waited two weeks to get both, then 4 days for one and a month(or longer???) for the other one.

seems like Canada is getting their packages from me in the US at a decent speed, but I am waiting on a couple from Canada and they are creeping slow....

Folks in the USA have to remember that it is US Customs that can hold packages up as well. Nothing to do with Canada Post. I'm not saying that Canada Post is perfect by any means, but often the blame doesn't fall entirely on them.
Recently I was blown away with a package getting to California from Ontario in 3 days, via regular mail. That is the fastest I have ever seen anything get to anywhere in the States by regular mail from here.
