    Verlander is gone

A member had a concern over the patch cards.
I hope this enlightens anyone else with concerns

Leaf and FLeer both placed a focus on card rarity based on numbering, not fabric, and dissemination in packs.
This is how a /150 card can have a sexy patch and a /25 have a plain ol crappy GU patch.

    let's take a player
    Let's take Nomar Garcioparara
Lets look at a 2002 Boston RedSox jersey (home)
It has RED SOX on the front
    League Patch on the shoulder
    BIG NUMBERS ON THE BACK
    Players name on the back
How many cards can ya get out of that, squae 1 square inch total ?
Well, the BIG NUMBERS ON THE BACK would be around 92. The name...and a long one it is, would be 44
Then there is RED SOX,league patch, etc, etc
    That is moot TBH
The point is when you pulled a MIRROR GOLD from 2002 Leaf.....
    and got

Well, it is red and has a stitch....and it's /50....so it must be a sexy patch. But it is 1 out of 50 and even if you disregard my assessment of the back side of the jersey and cut them in half, you have 50 at least. Then the front,sleeves.....Every one of these would be NICE if the focus was on patch pieces.

    Then again

    These are /50......and that is a ™™™™ of a 2.00 GU swatch.

I redirect you to my initial comments.
They cared about card colors and numbered, not fabric as much

now, lets show you some sexy and some....laughable patch cards from /50

I think I am more frustrated that I can't sit back and say "They are not fake" and be taken at my word or "I think they are fake" and me saying "They are not" and it resting there.

If a person feels X is wrong because Z has it these days, then nothing will convince him otherwise. He would have to pull a card from a pack to see it before he was convinced it was truth.

    Enjoy the images
If you felt what I offered was not legitimate, reflect on what is above and reflect on your knowledge of those products back then. if you know me and deal with me,reflect on myself as a person....then maybe you would see why I would be offended at having to prove my claims over a 50.00 baseball card....
