    City Supercollector

I don't know if this has ever been discussed before but I was just thinking while going through my collection. Has the possibility of being labeled a City Supercollector ever come up. I know for me I have tons of Chicago stuff from all the teams(except sox). I just think it would be cool for those people who support all there local teams because they just love the game. Just an idea cause I got bored.

i thought so, but i also know most of thoughts usually don't pan out to well, just ask my wife, lol

i don't know what the requirements would be, maybe merge some of the requirements for each sport since they vary a litle for player supercollector

I collect pretty much anything from my city: Dayton, OH. Unfortunatly we dont have any pro teams but I collect pretty much any memorabilia of the Dayton Dragons (minor league baseball) and the Dayton Flyers (NCAA basketball).

If you played in Detroit, and theres a sports card of them in uniform, I collect it. I take 1 or 100 of the same card. Hell, I have 500 Matt Nokes cards from 1988 Topps. I don't object to any Detroit card, as long it is in NrMT or better condition :)

thats what im doing actually, never thought about it as a "city supercollector" but that would be a great category. im just collecting from my favorite teams and players that went to my favorite college. it actually made my choices much easier on what to look for or buy lol.

Yes it is a great idea. I know if I lived in a historic sports city like Chicago, Cleveland or Philadelphia I'd be collecting those teams as well as attending most of the games. Especially Chi-Town & the historically sound Cubs!!
