I once went to a Yankee game against the Rangers when he was still with Texas. He came out and ran, then walked over for autographs by the dugout on the third base line. This was at the very beginning of batting practice. He then went on to sign all the way down the line until he reached the left field foul pole. Literally hundreds of autographs over atleast an hours time. Dont be so quick to judge.

What do I love about 'graphing the Columbus Clippers? Players can sign from the dugout...I now consider myself lucky.
Honestly, I think that almost has to be expected...we all know what a fan-friendly person A-Roid has been over the years.

Thanks but my brother quit when he didn't sign pregame and went home. My friend who was also at the game is the one going to the hotel as we speak.

#him signing in the parking lot- When aroldis chapman was in Scranton, one of the managers of the scranton yankees (a family friend) drove him from INSIDE the stadium to his hotel- there is actually a ramp where they can pick up players inside where they never have to go near the fans. I imagine this is the treatment ARod is getting. It's the hotel or nothing I'm sure.

Saw a picture on Twitter of him signing a few autographs THROUGH the gate outside the Yanks' locker room. Not sure how much he signed.
Also, thanks for the heads up on the hotel, but I had my father with me and couldn't make the trip. Hope your friend was successful!

I'm not getting my hopes up too much with this one. I plan on going early tomorrow and seeing if I can get him as he goes in and later as he comes out if I am unsuccessful. This looks like it was a big waste of money on my part. I should have stuck with my original plan of going to Giants camp and attempting Eli.

Gah, I wish I went to Giants camp, but I did enjoy the game and the Rays' players. Still don't lose hope, A-Rod DID sign, though I don't know how much. Your best bet, when he leaves, head for the Yankee clubhouse and crowd the gate there. Hold your item through the gate and pray for the best. He'll be signing again I would think and hope for your sake!
