Hot Packs/Boxes
I have a question, recently on Ebay I say a box of 05 Studio... The seller claims it to be a hot box with 24 GU/AU...
Ebay Auction
How do these dealers know these are hot boxes? Are the specials sent out by the companies or are they basically searched packs repacked??
IDK, the price on the ebay box is high, especially if get burned with low end GU/AU....
Am I just being overly cautious with all these hot pack/boxes being offered for sale?

those boxes come directly from the card companies in the cases. i would have to guess that they have either found a way to search for these or the have broken everyother box in the case.

Well this auction has 24 Hot Packs all put into one box.
Doesn't say factory sealed box anywhere I can see. My guess is he went pack feeling and bought enough "guaranteed" packs to make a box. I hope over half of them are blank feeler cards so he gets some really nasty feedback. I wouldn't buy it. Besides, those overpriced guaranteed packs take the excitement out of it.

Do people honestly think that they will get a card that is more than $200 out of the box? They'll probably get $10 and under autographs and some $25 "star" autograph for $200 plus shipping when they could have bought all those autographs off of somebody in the trading forum for 1/4 the price.Selling all my cards here updated as of July------------> Hidden Content
