This only happens to me with the Absolute stuff, like you said. Keep them right with tons of other base. Only type that does that for me.....

This is due to uneven heat transfer through the card materials. Photo paper on cardboard. The different materials expand at different rates through temperature changes. It's the same principle as a bimetallic thermometer.

this is pretty common, especially with high gloss sets. You should see some of my 90's sets.... Finest, Chrome, 1994 UD SE, and several others. They have a severe bend in them, but the cards still look fine when they go into a toploader.

we should still contact panini becuz we dish out a good amount of money for this cards. you never know what may happen. lets say u bought a couple of packs and got a good auto and have to leave or a emergency happens and you put them down for a couple of hours and when u come back they are bent like a question mark. what then. panini needst to be noticed.

You should contact them because that's odd. I have a ton of absolute and they are all out because I have nowhere to put them and they've been ok for months.

Exactly, Also, I believe humidity is relevant in this case with cardboard being absorbent and foil board not where the back of the card is only wax coated. I have the same problem in Ohio where we have high humdity.

as far as I know, chrome cards come bent straight out of the pack. Might be the chrome plating
