Friday Im beginning my ebay selling career (?)

I plan on selling whatever I can to make more money to buy boxes. For you that sell things...do you normally get pretty good money for your cards? I know that may seem vague, but answer as best as you can please?

Well, I've never sold any cards on eBay, but I know for single cards that aren't GU/AU/Anything special, the seller makes I'd say 95% of their money off of shipping. Seriously, a card sells for $.50, yet shipping is $2-4.
What is your eBay user name? I will keep track of you in case I see something I like :)

Try to sell whats hot and whats new. Some things always hold their value, say Jordan Autos or Vintage cards, but if a rookie is hot SELL!!!!, if a product is new and you bust a bunch SELL!!!! If you have pesky and annoying numbered inserts you might make a killing as set or player collectors may need it and will go after it heavily.

Couldn't Agree more, and I used to be a PowerSeller. My feedback is around 1200, and just selling the newest product is the way to go. Team Sets are a good idea. Insert lots. Those types of things.

I've never really had any luck selling cards on Ebay, but I never really sold anything that was brand new because I haven't busted many boxes. I usually just pick singles up from Ebay myself. I have had alot of luck selling stuff around the house I used to collect like dvds, horror movie stuff, ICP stuff, etc.

Sweet wallet, I used to have one just like it, only mine had the red Power Ranger on the front. Good luck with your business venture.

Good Luck! You may have some trouble with having people pay within 24 hours though. I state in my auctions that payment is due 5 days after auction or I'll leave negative feedback. But being new, you may want to be patient before giving negative feedback.

Just my 2 cents. Once again, Good Luck!

I'm going to jump in here and say a couple things.I've been selling since 1999 I am a Powerseller.First thing your going to get crushed with negative feedback with a 24 hour pay limit.people bid and expect to have 7 days to pay a good idea would be switch that but it's your choice.Make sure you describe your items to the best of your ability don't put nm-mt if it's in poor condition.your shipping is going rate.I wish you luck and hope you have many sales on Ebay.

Also here is another tip. I think that you should start all your auctions on a Saturday at around 9-11 EST so that everyon on the west and east coast has time to bid on it...
