went down to tampa today to the tampa skate part. tony hawks tour was there today. had his hotel but by the time i could get down there he already checked out. the event was free, but there was a vip meet and greet. you couldn't even buy passes to it. the only way you could get them was by winning them. my friend got a wristband from someone who had already gone in. he came out, i put it on (those paper ones) and had tried to restick it. showed the guy the band and he pulled it and it easily came off. told me "i don't think so" and shut the door on me LOL. we followed him to the park where he was skating, then after to where the vip room was. he sat down for a few minutes and signed 1 item for some kid, then took off to eat. after he ate he went back over to the park and skated again. after he was done, he went back to the vip room and everyone rushed in. he sat down and everyone made a line and he went through it. i asked for the "first to land a 900" inscription but he only wrote "900" while saying too many people. also got the pic with. i had wanted to buy one of his boards to get done, but couldn't get one in time. as i'm leaving i spot my friend who told me they were selling signed boards for $50 (the board alone costs $50, so the graph was free) so i picked one of those up as well.
