    Requirements for minors crossing border?

    Hi,

    What are the requirements for minors(under the age of 16) to cross the border from the US to Canada? From what I've heard, you need a note w/phone # & address from another parent's written consent and a certified birth certificate. However, I am not 100% sure this is all correct. Feel free to add anything, and please help me out, thanks!

    You need written permission from BOTH parents, not sure what needs to be in that written area. You need your full official birth certificate.

    Visit the State Department website for all the information you need for traveling.
