Hey everyone - if you've read any of my threads before you might know Im an old fashion collector - I collect purely for personal value - Im not interested in flipping cards, and while I do look up the prices, I believe a card is worth what its worth to you, not what its worth to a book

sadly, it seems like the hobby has transitioned from this mindset to a $$$ mindset.

NOTE: FOR PC COLLECTORS - PLEASE, IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, HAVE SOME INDICATION YOU ARE A TEAM COLLECTOR OR A PLAYER COLLECTOR - DONT MEAN TO BE PICKY, BUT OBVIOUSLY I COULD GIVE THESE CARDS AWAY IN A SECOND TO ANYBODY WHO JUST WANTS THEM

My personal collection is small - 20 cards or so - however, they are 20 pretty valuable cards - probably a little over 2k was spent on them

Anyway, I used to be a BIG TIME collector - growing up, I bought packs pretty much every day. I gave about 8000 cards away, but still have about 5000 or so.

This thread is for collectors only - Im trying to give away cards I really have no need for at all - if you are a personal collector of any of the players or teams you see in the album Im about to post, just comment below or PM

I also have about 4000 base cards of sports cards - so if you have any player you collect and need some base or inserts or rookies let me know and Ill see what I have

Anyway, the cards in this album are 100% FREE - meaning, you get them for nothing - however, please request them only if you are truly interested in them - not just looking to flip. I will post more cards for free every couple of days or so, so just keep yours eye on the thread/link

Now for anyone wondering why Im doing this...

Its simple, sports card collecting isn't just an investment for me, its something I thoroughly enjoy, and enjoy doing it with others. I don't believe in the benefit of selling cards for 2 or 3 dollars, since after ebay and shipping and paypal fees, I end up giving them away for free anyway.

And remember - if you are a collector, or want base cards or inserts for any specific team or player, lmk - I most likely have a bunch

Nice thing you're doing and nice cards for free. Unfortunatey, nothing I personally collect see unless you have some Bradfords or Kobe's not scanned in yet :)

Well, I had a nice Drew Brees auto that I was very disappointed to sell, was going to collect him. A very classy guy. I was in bad need of PP. It's in my photobucket. The other 2, I have been meaning to buy, have alot of faith in them this year, but I am very low on paypal.
On a side note, what you are doing is what the hobby is about. I will somehow do something like this in return for what you are doing now, if I am lucky enough to get these cards. If not, I appreciate the chance.
