The Audacity of some people.
So I sold this card last week which probably wasn't gem mint but when I sold it it was in really good condition. I wasn't trying to hide anything and pretty much let the scan speak for itself on my listing and even offered anyone to ask questions. There were no scuffs that I was aware of when I sold it. (It had been in the same holder from when I bought it). So I get this feedback w/o the buyer even contacting me first so I could refund his money.

Aug-04-11 17:20 Kevin Kolb Auto SP Topps Tribute Jersey Patch /20 HOT (#250862454664)US $14.50
Today I happen to see this listing:http://cgi.ebay.com/Kevin-Kolb-Autograph-Topps-Tribute-Jersey-Patch-10of20-/230660026732?pt=US_Football&hash=item35b468b16c
It's the same exact card as well as the same scan I produced. On his description he puts perfect mint condition. Idiot.

It would be funny if you bought the card back and left him negative feedback since it wasnt "perfect"

Exactly what I was thinking. Since he has it listed as mint condition. Maybe Ebay can remove the feedback if you showed them his auction? I'm not really sure if its possible, but just a thought

With the amount of feedback he has I doubt he'd care. Besides if I did he'd find some way of screwing me over. It would be too much of a headache to deal with but thanks for the idea!

Yeah the whole feedback and especially this new stars thing is frustrating.. I have 246 positive feedback and 0 negatives but because 2 of my star ratings got hit more than 3 times I can only sell 9 things a month on ebay ™™™! I had a friend who got really ticked off at a guy that gave him bad feedback so what he did to get him back was he made a fake ebay name and would snipe all the guys auctions at the last second then drag on the non payment by telling the guy he was gonna pay at the end of the week etc and then he told the guy hahah I'm not gonna pay.. evil ..

Yeah I dont think the people who leave the star system know how crucial it is for people.. when you look at my star rating it shows 5 gold stars in 2 cetegories and 4 and 1/2 gold stars in 2 other categories which to a consumer and me still looks good.. I had no idea it would still limit me to 9 things a month I found out the hard way when I went to sell a bunch of things to buy my white whale on ebay...luckly I made enough with the few things I could put on.

Thought about it, but didn't feel it was necessary to retaliate at this point. I just reported it to ebay and will see how they handle it.

UPDATE: Called ebay and after waiting on the phone for about 10 minutes they basically told me to contact the to remove the neutral feedback and hung up without me even before I was able to say anything about the matter.
The item he bought from me by the way and turned around sold intially sold for around $20 the first time and $10 the second time.Last edited by RGM81; 08-29-2011 at 08:29 PM.
