    Football jersey size question

I'm looking to get an authentic football jersey but I'm not sure about the size.

I have an authentic baseball jersey size 48 and it fits fine, would a football jersey size 48 be good? Or are they cut differently? I heard that with football jerseys you should go one size up for a "loose" fit.

I buy same size for jersey as I do for an everyday shirt.
If I buy size bigger, almost feels like housecoat!! LOL
Wife just bought me an Aaron Rodgers Super Bowl jersey
    & a Packer/Viking "FOOTBALL IQ" tshirt(pics in "Show & Tell")!!!

    To each their own tho!!
