Important Question

Hello Every Hockey Collector in SCF. I am an avid baseball, football, and basketball collecter but live in the state of hockey(minnesota). I mite buy up some inserts of players and have busted a few hockey packs but never really gotten into it. Now i am intrested and am wondering which player to PC. I definently will start following that player and team and stuff. Please Help answer my question and thanks!

Hey there

Since you are a minny fan, there are a lot of solid, underrated players on that team, such as Nick Backstrom, Pierre Marc Bouchard, Mikko Koivu, and even Dany Heatley who just got traded there a few months ago. If I were to pick one, it'd probably be Koivu...possibly backstrom. Koivu is an awesome player and leader, his cards are pretty cheap, considering how good of a player he is. Backstrom has a great auto, and is minnys number one goalie. You can get his auto anywhere from $5-35, and would be a pretty inexpensive player to collect.

I'd watch the your hometown team, the Wild, and then decide who you like the most.

It can get kinda tough but really depends on what you feel. If you like the home team then by all means pick a wild player to collect. If not(like me) maybe watch some games and see if there is someone else out there you like? I'm from Michigan but I can't stand the Red Wings. So I collect Marian Hossa and Jeff Skinner. My favorite team is the Penguins and I do collect some of Crosby and Malkin. But I mostly stick to my PC players and they aren't from my home State team. So it's really up to you.
